Homeopathy education in Bangladesh

In order to have a proper study about the homeopathy education and research in Bangladesh, the Ministry of Health and Family Planning of Government of India sent a medical team comprising of higher officials that included Dr Asish Dutta, assistant secretary (CCH) and Dr Kumar Vivekananda, research officer (CCRH) to Bangladesh for a weeklong visit from July 15 to July 21.
According to a reliable source, the Bangladesh government has requested the Government of India to consider the homeopathy degree of Bangladesh as equivalent to that of India so that the students of the neighbouring country could come to India to pursue their post graduation studies on the subject.
The team visited different institutions of Homeopathy across the country of Bangladesh. After interacting with the high officials of institutions and the Bangladesh government, the team came back to India who would submit their report to the Ministry of Health and Family Planning soon. Dr Dutta and Dr Kumar also visited the manufacturing industries of homeopathic medicine and evaluated the techniques of making the drugs.
It can here be recollected that Dr Asish Dutta is from Paikan Deopara village of Hailakandi district. He is the son of late Avodh Chandra Dutta.
