Indo Japan world Homeopathic conference 2015 at Delhi

Indo Japan world Homeopathic conference 2015 will be held Delhi , India on 28th February and 1st of March.The Centre for advanced studies in Homeopathy (CASH) Delhi, is organizing the event. The venue is at Tivoli Garden Resort New Delhi.

AYUSH budget Allocation 2015-16

Ministry of AYUSH (India) has asked the finance ministry to hike the budgetary allocation for propagation and promotion of AYUSH to an extent of Rs.2,700 crore for fiscal 2015-16 from present level of Rs.400 crore, its Minister of State (IC) Mr. Shripad Yesso Naik said. 
Minister disclosed that the government have an independent drug controller for the AYUSH that will be separated from the drug controller of modern medicine.

Standardisation of education for alternative medicine in Pakistan

Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain has urged the practitioners as well as proponents of alternative medicine in the country to focus on scientific research as well as standardisation of education and training in homoeopathy and tibb respectively. 
Addressing the inaugural session of International Expo Alternative Medicine organised by monthly Moalij here on Saturday, he said efficacy and relevance of traditional medication could not be ignored. “Yet absence of proper regulation, standardisation and above all no research have severely compromised their popularity among the masses,” he said. Mentioning that in local context homoeopathy and tibb are most relevant traditional modes of treatment which are extremely popular for quite some time after establishment of the country, the president regretted that indifference towards research culture caused a great setback to these otherwise affordable source of medication.

A national-level AYUSH expo at Banglore

A national-level AYUSH expo will be jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Karnataka State Health and Family Welfare Department in Bengaluru from January 21 to 25, said Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader. 
Announcing this at a press conference here on Sunday, he said that union AYUSH minister Shripad Y Naik and chief minister Siddaramaiah would participate in the expo. Several international-level industries related to AYUSH will participate in the five-day event along with national-level AYUSH experts. Various seminars on topics regarding ways to improve AYUSH practices and retain them will also be held as part of the national-level event, he said, adding that over 200 stalls would be set up for participating industries in the expo.
