Kerala PSC has published the rank list of the candidates for the post of MEDICAL OFFICERS - HOMOEOPATHY. The Rank list is published also for Medical officer post in insurance department. The main rank list includes 248 candidates and many more in the supplementary rank lists.
The advice memo from PSC and the Appointment order from the Director of homeopathy has yet to be issued.
The Medical officers are posted in the various Dispensaries that are vacant across the districts of Kerala. This has helped these candidates to join the State Service without loosing much time. More candidates will be given advice memo when the vacancies arises in the due course. Presently there are above 50 vacancies in various dispensaries spread across the state. The New medical officers though are posted in a scale of 39500-83000, they will be getting the new salary scale as per the NEW pay commission too.
Its also a good news to the newly posted medical officers. The Medical Officer is a State Gazetted post. The induction Training for these doctors will be done shortly after their appointments. Their Probation period will be for two years.These training make them more aware of their jobs as medical officers. The New appointments would give a big relief to the Senior Medical officers who had additional charges for the Vacant dispensaries. The Government has taken a big step in promoting homeopathy and AYUSH. Homeopathy is now under AYUSH Department.
